Mekki is founder of “Kuwaiti Sudanese Aluminum Co. Ltd. (1980) Kudal”: An industrial firm of aluminum products for architectural purposes, the first project of its kind in Sudan. The Founder of “Sudanese Kuwaiti Brick Co. Ltd (1983)”, a semi-automatic factory to produce red clay bricks from the Nile silt mechanically. Founder of “Al Faris Al Arabi Co. Ltd (1999)”, a trading company dealing in import and export of various items, mainly construction materials. Agent of many European Brands.

Mekki also took over as Commercial Manager for (ACAPP) the amalgamated four companies of the “Arab Authority of Agricultural Investment & Development (1990)” in Sudan.

Established “Samid Company for Modern Furniture Ltd. (1988)”, a medium workshop produces office furniture. Established “Shua’a Co. (1988)”, the first mirror plant in Sudan, (machinery, tools, chemical & technical backup by VITRODODI of Italy).
Founder, Partner and Chairman of “Bushrana Global Trading Co. L.L.C. (1999)” incorporated in Dubai. Bushrana connections extend from the UAE to the Gulf States, Far East, the regional market of North Africa and the Middle East. Invested in a variety of industrial, commercial, and financial projects, including marble and other commodities, in collaboration with Emarati Partner and schoolmate in Boston University – H.E Dr. Mohamed Khalfan Bin Kherbash. Bushrana today is a major supplier and distributor of refined oil products in Sudan, since 2016, and on process to start supplying three (3) East African countries.

Founder & Board Member of “Arab Center for Communication and International Relations (2005)” with headquarter at Dubai, UAE, headed by Sh. Bander Bin Fahad Al Fahid (Saudi Arabia) and H.E. Sulieman H. Al Mazrouyee (UAE), and Honorary President (H.H) Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Mekki also served as Partner & General Manager in “Pan Gulf Trading. & Industry L.L.C” a free zone company in the Jebel Ali Free Zone area. Adding to his massive and rich experience, he is also the Founder and Partner of “Emirati Foodstuff and Plastic Packing Co. Ltd., a modern factory producing natural water “SAFA”, carbonated drink “Sinalco” of Germany, natural juice pouches “Capri-sonne (2007)” of Germany, owning 21% of its shares. Founder and Board Member of “Emirates & Sudan Bank in 2006 ($200 Million Capital)” – the largest bank in Sudan. The Founder, Shareholder and Board Member of “Canar Tel. Co the third telecommunication company in Sudan, wherein “80% of the Company owned by Etisalat of UAE Introducing for the first time (C.D.M.A) Tele-Com Operation System (2006).
